For kids in grades K-8
Presented by Union Hospital Community Health and Wellness and Union Hospital Dietitians
In this 6 week program, we will help your kids learn to eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans, and stay active.
Each week we will focus on a different healthy topic. Weekly programs will include a make and taste healthy recipe, an informative lesson and take home activities.
Week 1: Eat Powerful Plant Foods
Week 2: Go With Whole Grains
Week 3: Healthy Protein Muscle Builders
Week 4: Get Active
Week 5: Healthy Grocery Shopping
Week 6: Taste a Rainbow of Colors
Cost: $10/child $20 max per family
Program Dates: Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22 and March 1 and 8th.
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. on Thursdays.
