Union Hospital Teens Exploring Careers in Healthcare (UH TECH)  Career Program

If you are a high school student and would like an up-close and personal look at careers available in the healthcare field at Union Hospital...then UH TECH is the program for you!

High school students are invited to learn more about healthcare careers! Each event is held on a Saturday morning at Union Hospital.  Students arrive at 8:45 a.m. and will wrap up the day’s events by Noon.  Each event will feature a different career opportunity.  Students in small groups will rotate through each of the morning’s activities.

Students may attend any one or all of the UH TECH events.  Register for EACH of the events you wish to attend.

 January 20  10AM - Noon
-Introduction to UH TECH
-Visit the department of LAB
-UH Tour
-Learning hands-only CPR and use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) Device

 February 10  8:45am - Noon
-Physcial and Occupational Therapy
-Cardiology and Vascular Diagnostics

 March 10  8:45am - Noon
-Surgery
-Radiology

 April 14  8:45am - Noon
-MedFlight – Emergency Air Transport
-EMS
-Nursing
